2. What is included in a 4ch Mobile DVR solution?

4ch Mobile DVR system includes hardware and software. Below pictures may help you have a clear idea about the whole system. 4ch Mobile DVR system hardware includes 4 cameras, 1 monitor, 1 MDVR. The software part includes server software, IVMS client software and APP software.

3. How to install each camera for 4ch Mobile DVR?

4ch Mobile DVR needs to install 4 cameras at least in a system.

The first camera will be used to record the driver inside cabin.

The second camera for the blank area which can be installed outside the truck near the mirror.

The 3rd camera can be installed outside the truck for the rear side.

The last camera is for record for forwarding on the road. You can also connect 1 IP camera if you need 5 cameras in the system. Our MDVR supports 5 channels in total.

4. What’s the capacity of the hard disk is the best for 4ch Mobile DVR?

Usually, the video will be stored in the hard disk. 1-hour video from a camera will take around 900 MB space. So if we install 1 TB hard disk for a 4ch Mobile DVR it can store the video for about 290 hours.

It could be around 23 days if a vehicle works no more than 12 hours every day. If we install 500GB hard disk for a 4ch Mobile DVR it can be store the video for 142 hours. Below is the data from our testing. 1 camera per hour from difference resolution with difference Bit.

5. What kind of vehicles may need 4ch Mobile DVR?

Most of the vehicle have to use 4 cameras at least. For example a school bus, Mini public bus, truck, and police car etc.
